Richard Sweeney

Richard Sweeney is an artist from England and has always had a talent for 3D sculpture, which he mainly uses paper. He has done a wide range of work from large sculptures for the window in the shop Selfridges and also one from the Festival of Arts event in Italy in 2007.

His pieces of work that caught my eye was his lager paper forms. These are large 3D circular forms each made from different shapes. I felt that this was something good for me to look at and help develop my net ideas.

The size of these pieces help with there impact, but as mine is going to be from people to retrieve information off and would be sent. I feel my net needs to able to be handled and big enough to be picked up and easily looked at.
