Initial Research

To start off  I chose to look at large design and packaging companies to start giving me ideas and help me to think about what sort of style and design I'd like my product to have.

Pearlfisher was the first company I looked at and they showed the range of packaging and also what helps with effective design and how to have the packaging show what the whole company or idea is about.

Big Fish is another branding design company I have been looking at. They have won a lots of awards for their packaging and designs. A lot of their work I feel are very organic and minimalist.

From looking at these couple of companies I feel I'd like to focus on clear designs with only a few colours and  making it simple for people to understand what they are looking at and buying. I feel this is very important as people can get wrapped up with too much information and they cant clearly see what they are looking at.
