Final Animation

I have finally finished my animation. I'm pleased with my outcome and feel I worked I hard to reach this final point. I think if I had a bit more time available I would have been able to make the dinosaur movements better.

(You tube has made my music a bit crackly, my final hand in film is a lot clearer)

Sound

I have found a section of the music that I want to use for my final animation. Its the same piece of the music just playing twice. The sounds fit nicely with my idea and i'll have the jumping in time with the beat in the music.

Objects

I have chosen several different objects and items for my duck and dinosaur to jump over and I have made some clouds to move slowly behind in the background helping to show movement.

I wanted the items that they will be jumping over to be outside things, so I have picked a rock, log, cactus, a bench, plant pot and a gnome. I wanted them also to be interesting things thats why I picked a range of different garden and outdoor items.

Starting

I have started to put together my animation on after effect. I have so after done about 8 seconds and thought I'd export some so I could see how it looked when rendered and on a bit of a bigger screen.

I'm happy with the bit I have don't so far, I still need to work on the log part and I think the dinosaurs legs to give the impression its moving along. I think I need to also make the ducks head move up and down giving it a bit more life.
On my animation I have only just put my music on just to give me an idea, it is not yet in the right place.

Feedback

I have received the feedback from my storyboard assessment and feel I made the right idea to change my original idea and use after effects. Also in my feedback it said that I need to make my animation a bit more interesting and I feel that making it into a chase rather than a race has done that.

Old Idea

Because at first I wasn't very confident with after effects I created this which I thought about using from my final animation when I was going to do stop motion, I'm proud of was I created and I managed to get my music to fit nicely with the movements.
